Photoshop question how to change size?
Educated Guess:
Use the Marquee tool to click on it, and a box should appear where you should be able to re-size it.
Photoshop question how to change size?
I think the resolution of the two pictures are different.
the best think to do is go to edit %26gt; transform %26gt; scale and hold SHIFT while scaling (else the image is going to be too flat or too thin if you resize it)

How do I resize a picture?
I need to make sure a picture that I have saved is 900x850. I use to have a program that I could change the size of a picture and save it, but that was a long time ago and I have no idea how to do it now. I'll take all of the help I can get get.
How do I resize a picture?
there is a free and simple program i use to cut down images for my phone/ipod its called irfanview http://www.irfanview.com/
It allows you to crop or resize the image amongst other things, very good simple program!
How do I resize a picture?
Faststone Image resizer will do the job. I haven't used it but I am sure you could figure it out.
You have to have a photo software program. You actually can do it in Paint, if you don't have anything else. Picture it express will work as well as printshop. It does not have to be an expensive program.
You can resize with the Gimp, it is equal photoshop.

download ifranview.
open the picture.
click resize/resample.
that is the best program to resize and crop pictures.
Rather then downloading something, open the picture up in Paint.
Then go up to Image and click Resize Image. Change the length and with to the same number's or the picture will get out of proportion.
The default number there is 100, so every time you go to resize it, 100 will still be there, don't compensate, just change the size, but maybe 50 each time. If you need yo resize it only a little, go by 20's either way.
But definitely don't download extra software just to resize a picture, that would be a waste of time and disk space.
There are quite a few freeware programs that will do that. Go to SnapFiles.com, click on the freeware and under the Graphics and Photo category check out Image Resizers. As another answer said, Faststone is very good and it is easy to use.
I use Microsoft Powertoys resizer. It's free and it incorporates right into your file options. Just right click the image, select resize, and choose what size you want to make the image.

Why does Microsoft Paint keep changing the size of my picture?
I am using Microsoft Paint on my Windows XP PC to create a book cover. I have set the size of the picture on the Attributes to Width 11.13 cm, Height 18.97 cm (the Resolution is shown as 81 x 81 dpi).
However, as soon as I save the work the size changes to Width 9.42 cm, Height 16.06 cm with Resolution at 96 x 96 dpi. How can I stop this from happening?
Why does Microsoft Paint keep changing the size of my picture?
Use a free program called %26quot;Paint.NET%26quot; its infinitely better than MS paint.

I would try using GIMP. It is a free image editor which is far superior to Microsoft Paint. You will have much more control over your image using the GIMP. I can't think of a reason or solution to the problem you are having so this is all I can suggest. Give it a try!

I use this to make my Bebo skins because I don't have photoshop.

How can I change the size of my paper when I want to print something in Picasa?
I'm trying to print a 4X6 picture in Picasa. When I click on custom paper size and try to enter numbers, it doesn't do anything and the numbers don't show up.....have any idea how to fix the issue? Thank you so much!
How can I change the size of my paper when I want to print something in Picasa?
In the Print window you need to click on the Printer Setup button on the left. This will open your printer dialog box and you change the paper size to 4x6 there. Almost all printers have 4x6 paper size listed, and if not, then most printer options allow you to choose %26quot;Custom%26quot; from the drop down list and then type the size. If yo are doing that, I don't know why it would not work. Has worked for me in all versions of Picasa since the beginning.
Then use the Print Layout section of Picasa for image size on the paper and you want to select 4x6 there also.
This should give you a 4x6 image on 4x6 paper.
