How can I change my source options on my samsung hdtv from zoom1 and 2 to wide screen and full screen?

when I first baught my tv and i put the source on component and I did picture size I had the option of having it on like fullscreen or widescreen and other things and now it has the same as the tv source which is like 16.9 and zoom 1 and 2 and the picture was much better on the wide screen. it is a samsung 40 inch 1080 hdtv thank you

On my Samsung, picture size is determined by the P SIZE button near the bottom of the remote. The choices are similar to what you list above, but there another, JUST SCAN. That's the default mode where I leave it almost all the time. Changing to different inputs, like my DVD player, seems to always result in the best picture with the P SIZE function left in JUST SCAN.
