I just drew something on GIMP, but I'm now realizing that there's not enough room to fit the picture. I don't feel like starting over with a larger scale, but I'd like to know how to make the background of the image bigger but keep the image the same size. (Like how on MS Paint you drag the corner to make the drawing field bigger and use the dotted square to grab an image and drag it where you want.)
Changing size on GIMP?
Go to the image menu, and select set canvas size. Increase that to whatever is desired and then hit ok, go to the layer menu and select layer to image size.
