What do I do to convert a picture that I have in a Word document or PDF file to a .jpeg or .gif file? I am trying to put a logo that someone emailed me onto a website. Is there a converter on a site somewhere and how do I change the sizes or dimensions of pictures to make them fit where I want them to on a site?

If its on PDF, you can copy or save the entire page as a jpeg (using Adobe Acrobat Pro)
If that doesn't work, you can always do a screen capture (Windows:: Ctrl+Print Screen, or Alt+Print Screen), and paste it into Paint, or similar program, crop it and re-save it.
If its on a Word doc, then usually you can double click the picture, and it will allow you to copy/edit. After coping, you can now paste it into Paint or similar program.
