I got a used Nikon coolpix 4700, with no user instructions. I can't find (in the settings menu) how to change the size of my pictures. I need to set it up for 300 dpi shots. Please help!

I think what you are looking for is the proper resolution to set your camera to. 300 DPI is not that great a resolution. If you set your camera to 600X800 resolution, that would be the lowest resolution your camera has, and probably close to 300DPI

Have you tried looking on the web i know their is a site that has printable manuals. Sorry I don't know off hand.
