The math is simple. You generally want prints to come out at 300 dpi (dots per inch) for a sharp print. Dot is the same as a pixel so a 760x1024 image is 760/300 x 1024/300 or a 2.53 inch x 3.41 inch print. This is quite a bit smaller than 8x10. So you have to first %26quot;upres%26quot; or increase the size of the image. This is a fairly common task that many photo editing programs will do. There are even specialized programs such as Genuine Fractals that do it. The quality of the enlarged image varies you may want to try different programs and check the results. In the case of the 760x1024, the math to find the right size is again simple. 8x300 x 10x300 or 2400x3000 pixels. That is the minimum size you need to make your 760x1024 image.

However this is 0.74 ratio while an 8x10 is a 0.8 ratio image. So some cropping out of the image is required. This is a very basic editing function in any editing program.

Once you have upres and cropped the image, you can e-mail the image to any number of places to make prints for you.
