I'd recommend $1 or $2 per picture. This is a fairly simple operation in Photoshop so I wouldn't expect too much more than that to fly. Unless of course the person has no other way to accomplish this task... then you might be able to convince them to pay you more.

I don't know how much you should charge, but look into recording Actions and using the Automate - Batch feature in Photoshop. It'll make it go faster.
Printers will charge anywhere from $35.00 per hour to $75.00 depending on reputation. Pick some where in the middle, do a good job and set a minimum of 30 minutes.
So if you select $50.00 an hour for your services they will know the least they will pay is $25.00.
Spell this out on your invoice so there is no confusion later.

20min for one photo? You are looking at 33.3 hours as the batch/action command in Photoshop won't work if there are any custom selections.
I wouldn't say you are anywhere near good enough to charge any more than $5 / hr. No offence, but you aren't fast enough either to charge anymore than that. From the sounds of it, I could do what you are doing in under 5mins. No business will be able to justify a $25/hr charge when that is almost $1000 on just editing images wich is a joke.
In your case, I'd strongly suggest you charge per image. $2.25 / image would work really well for you.
I agree with Ipshwitz, charge for pictures but just something like $1.5 or $2. That'll keep business coming and if you use the actions, you'll be done in no time.

When I saved the text and then opened the file in .jpg format again, the whole image was totally bright.

I think what you are looking for isn't really a function of PowerPoint. You need the printer's settings. So when you go to print, in the dialog box that opens look for something that says Properties then look for a tab or section that says Paper and look for the size you need.
All printers and drivers are different, but you should be able to pick your way through and find what you need.
Then, when you go back to the basic PowerPoint print dialog box, be sure to click ON Scale to Fit Paper at the bottom.

I have Windows XP home edition and I want to change the caption buttons on each window. (caption buttons are the buttons you use to close out a window. u press the X to close the window and minimize and maximize.) is there anyway to do that? i no how to change the size but i want to change the picture. There has to be a hack I can use i want to change it to look like the buttons apple uses on mac's(red, yellow, and green dots). I want my computer to look as much like a mac as possible. I already changed the desktop to look JUST like one its not even funny. Please if anyone can help me i would strongly appreciate it. If you cant answer the 1st question please help me with the second one. the one with making my windows look like a mac without using pearpc cause i dont have a download of mac osX. Thankz!

XBox 360 HD picture size too big for TV?

OK this is very common with this model. If you look on the circuit board, there is a little board that sticks up. Look on that board and there are 2 adjustable pots. They are orange, mess with those, if still nothing then one of the pots are bad, which in most cases need to be replaced.

What size is the original? If it is larger than 7 inches on one side, you will have no problem cropping it to a 7x7 inch, 300 DPI image file ... just remember to save it as a new file name so you do not overwrite the original image.

I can suggest a simple way to you, and it really works.

Step1.Open Microsoft Office Word 2007
Step2.Click on %26quot;Insert%26quot; and then insert the photo you want to resize.
Step3.Click on %26quot;format%26quot; and then on %26quot;crop%26quot;(you will find it on the top right corner)
Now crop the photo to make it a square(you will find the menu for dimension in inches just to the right of the %26quot;crop%26quot; menu.)
Step4.Once you have cropped your photo into a square, then using the menu for the dimensions, you can change your photo to 7x7 inches easily.

But converting a small resolution image to a larger image, like for example a 500x500 px image with a resolution of 75 px per inch, it will not be as sharp as those photos that is 3000x3000 with at least 100px. Although it will clean the squared pixel, it will still be the same as the original. Especially if you will use it in a large scale printing. But enlarging it to a higher dpi or px will make it better. There is a way to make it clean because it will be as dirty as hell if you zoom it so close, try to duplicate the layer and use blur effect (most people use gaussian blur) then mask it and leave the edges hidden (eyes, lips and edges of the nose). If you don't know how to use mask, Just erase the edges with an eraser tool so that the cheeks, forehead and other plain parts will be blurred %26amp; will look clean.

The Gimp is itself an abomination I love to diss on Yahoo! answers even though I'm a Linux guy and it comes installed by default in most Linux distros. If you have Photoshop you may be able to do what you want by changing the bit depth from 8 to 16. If it doesn't have to be a JPEG, YOU CAN USE TIFF OR TARGA FORMAT. There aren't a lot of ways to do what you want short of embedding something in the photo. See Steganography

Hello, What I would like to do is turn a picture into a background image, but say the picture is 1000, 1500 I want to be able to use some code to automatically make the picture say 1024 by 780 can I do this? how so? Even more If the window is small can I make it so the picture is fully displayed modified so that it is the full thing but scaled down and as the window is resized, have the background image resized?

After much research, and the great input of other posters who have visited this need in the past, I think I've figured out another way to resize user pictures in nodes and comments. (this is intended for 4.7 only)
We SHOULD be able to resize user pictures using CSS. This offloads the task of resizing to the user's browser, rather than the Drupal server. Unfortunately we can't resize user pictures because of the way Drupal themes them.
Drupal wraps the img with a div, having the class of .picture. If we try to add a size attribute to this class, it fails, because the default size of the img object nested inside the div takes precedence. What we need is a class on the img itself, then we can resize it in style.css.
To do this, we need to override the Drupal function that formats the user picture. This function is found in the profiles module and is called theme_user_picture(). Since this is a themable function, we can override it in the template.php file in the default theme directory. This new function moves the .picture class from the div that wraps the image to the img object itself.
Here's the new function to add to template.php:

Make a copy of these images and resize them to 266x130 and name them header-left1.jpg, header-left2.jpg, header-left3.jpg, header-left4.jpg. These will become the images on the top (banner) section of all of your internal pages. You can always add applications later.

Your going to need an image editing program that has the capability to show you the size of your photos in pixels. Sometimes you get image editing software that comes with a camera or something but a lot of times that is not software that has such a specific capability. You can crop and cut but you don't necessarily know what size your image is once you are done.
A program such as Photoshop will allow you to change your image sizes and will measure in formats of inches, centimeters, milimetres, or pixels depending on what you specify. However, such image editing software is really pricey usually running over $700 for a new program. My advice to you would be to find a friend or someone willing to help you who already has such software and can make the image size changes for you. Otherwise you may be able to contact a print house or graphics designer and maybe they can do it for you for a fee. I really don't know what other solution there may be.

Your going to need an image editing program that has the capability to show you the size of your photos in pixels. Sometimes you get image editing software that comes with a camera or something but a lot of times that is not software that has such a specific capability. You can crop and cut but you don't necessarily know what size your image is once you are done.
A program such as Photoshop will allow you to change your image sizes and will measure in formats of inches, centimeters, milimetres, or pixels depending on what you specify. However, such image editing software is really pricey usually running over $700 for a new program. My advice to you would be to find a friend or someone willing to help you who already has such software and can make the image size changes for you. Otherwise you may be able to contact a print house or graphics designer and maybe they can do it for you for a fee. I really don't know what other solution there may be.

The clasp can be adjusted by moving the pin holding it on the band to another set of holes in that row of holes to make it shorter or longer as needed. I have been looking at a number of different programs for mac for picture editing, but I haven't found one yet (that's free) that can let me change the picture size just by clicking and moving the mouse. Picture size on LG Chocolate phone?
I just got a replacement for my LG Chocolate cell phone. The picture size on the replacement (same exact phone) is smaller than the picture size on my old LG. It's just annoying when I go to make one of my pictures my background, because instead of having the picture take up the whole screen, there are two big white bars on the top %26amp; bottom of the screen. I've tried changing the resolution size, but even the highest resolution (1280x960) yields the same result. Anyone know how to fix this? I'm assuming that it can be adjusted because it stretched on my old Chocolate. Thanks!

The best way to resize is by using tags. To do this it is better to upload your pics to another repository for example photobucket.

The best way to resize is by using tags. To do this it is better to upload your pics to another repository for example photobucket.

use something like photobucket or gimp 2.2 (similar but free off the internet, search google for it) and resize it. you can always bring it into paint too and resize it but paint usually doesnt' work well... try it though.

I replaced the LCD screen in my phone (carefully following instructions) but now the screen size or resolution is wrong. Everything from the main screen to the menu and all my pictures are way too big. In the menu all of the options are squashed together.

Then save it as jpeg file with another name so that your original file remains intact. Check the final size of the image after saving. Repeat the procedure with the original image if you want it still smaller or bigger, by reducing or by increasing the stretch value.

I’m not quite sure when it happened (sometime ≥ v4.0), but iPhoto has finally fixed the non-anti-aliasing of exported photos. This makes my life a tad bit easier. The following steps are those that I used to take to get photos up on this site:
Create a temp folder in iPhoto.
Copy to this folder all of the pictures from the latest trip/event/whatever that I want to put up on the site.
Go to the temp folder and remove all of the photos that I know I’m not going to use on the site.
Sort the remaining photos in the order that I want.
Tag these photos with the “web” keyword (more about this here) for future reference.
Export them from iPhoto with no resizing and where the filenames are based on the album name. This will export the images with numbers that correlate to the order that you have them laid out in iPhoto (e.g., temp-01.jpg, temp-02.jpg, etc).
Use QuickName (or whatever you like) to remove “temp-” from the front of the filenames. I’ve found no way to get iPhoto to use only sequential numbers in the filenames (i.e., without a title preceding the number).
Use Photoshop to batch-resize the pictures to the size that I want for the website (currently 500×375).
Create a new folder on my webserver for the pics and drop them in there along with my Slideshow script.
Think about a faster, more efficient way to do this.

Changing MB size of pictures...?
I am trying to upload pictures of my new daughter unto my fotki page, but I guess the MB size is too much and my fotki page will only allow 50MB total on my account. There are a lot more pictures that I want to put up, but I don't know how to change the MB sizing. I just upload pictures from my camera straight to the computer. I have a Sony DSC-S500 camera. Can anyone help me... thanks.

Change the image size. I don't know what programs you might have that would allow you to do this, so you might have to find an online uploading thing that resizes your photo. Search in google for that.
If you have windows xp, open the file in microsoft PictureIt, then hit format, then resize image , easy, then save it.
Use a photo editing program (Adobe Photoshop, ArcSoft Photo Studio Suite, Corel PhotoPaint) and change the image size - make it smaller.
You need a program called Paint shop Pro. You can download it from www.download.com

Dump kodak photoshare and get yourself Adobe Photoshop CS2

In MS Frontpage, why do the cells in my table randomly change size when inserting an image?
Hello. I have made a brand new layout in photoshop 7.0, and am currently attempting to use the sliced graphics in my frontpage design. I need to use frontpage because that is the software that my client is familiar with. I am in charge of the design, and he takes it from there.
Anyways, when I make a table in MS Frontpage, and then insert an image into a cell, it distorts the cell pixel dimensions. My cells are set to lock at a 50px by 50px dimension, and my header image is 500x100. Therefore, I assumed that I would merge the first 10 cells in the first two rows, making one large 500x100 cell. That worked fine.
When I inserted my image, however, the cell completely through out everything I had just done, and nearly doubled in sixe for no apparent reason. Why is this and how do I fix it?
I tried using the picture toolbar to freely position the image myself, but when I preview the site in IE, it looks completely wrong, so that won't work.

That said, most likely you have applied a style or formatting to the cell in which spanning the cells is not changing the padding or spacing of the cells, or the margin is not properly set.
Also, given FrontPage's proclivity for assassinating HTML, it's possible it is adding attributes to your cells or table that are blowing everything up.
My advice would be to go ahead and design the site in an editor you like. Then, open your finished product in FrontPage, save the page one more time, and open it to make sure everything works fine.

Hey, i have a Phillips big screen TV (don't know model, will edit to what it is if someone tells me where to find it)

I don't want to change the size, but I was wondering if it's possible to take a picture on isight/photobooth that is smaller then 640px 脳 480px. I wanted to know if when you take photos on Photobooth on an imac/macbook do you have the option of the picture size or are the pictures only one size? how many different sizes can you make it? (not using photoshop)

the only size of photo you can take is the one photo booth takes by default. i know it's stupid. hopefully apple will change that in the future.

How do I change the size of my desktop wallpaper?
When I set a new picture as my desktop wallpaper it goes on as full screen and when I click to center it in the properties, it stays full screen. Same if I try to tile it. Any clues how to fix this??

When you use your own pictures, then you can use centre as well as stretch and tile.

the newest version of iTunes you can download has an extremely thin cursor, kinda like from MS word, or when you are typing something in google, so I would say just upgrade

In the new version of WLM (8.5) you can change the picture in the top of your main window (Main window = Where all your contacts is). You can create your own, but when I do it, it always gets blurry, because it's getting enlarged automatically.. Does anyone know how to turn this off or know the image size required to get a clear picture?
