How do you change the size of a picture from an email?

I received an email with a picture. I want to forward the picture to %26quot;my pictures%26quot;. When I try it shows up not as a picture but as a square with dots in the middle of it. It also won%26#039;t let me forward the email itself to anyone. What do I do?|||Have you tried right clicking on the pic and choosing %26quot;save as%26quot; then saving as a .JPG? Then you can open it in your photo editor and re-size it.
